From Production Standards to Parsons Studios | D&A Group & Parsons Collaboration Hits Its Big Moment

May 8, 2026

Empowering creativity through industry-grade materials

D&A Group is dedicated to advancing creativity in the industry. By supplying industry-grade materials and hands-on expertise, we help young designers experience real-world production standards while they’re still in school. From edge paints to dyes, from base colors to special-effect series, our work is guided by a clear mission: support creativity, grow talent, and build sustainable progress—bringing professional materials and practical know-how directly into top-tier design education worldwide.

Where design legends begin

Since its founding in 1896, Parsons School of Design has nurtured generations of designers who have gone on to shape the global fashion industry. With consistently top positions in QS World University rankings, and recognized as a leading art and design institution in the U.S., Parsons is more than a place to spark ideas—it’s a critical bridge between industry and education.

Where materials meet imagination

Building on a shared commitment to developing the next generation of designers, D&A Group and Parsons have launched a two-year in-depth collaboration. The partnership is integrated into Parsons’ Fashion Product and Fashion Product & Collection courses, bringing industry-grade materials—such as D&A edge polymer edge paints and Lorence aqua stain—into student learning. In the studio, students refine professional techniques, from edge finishing to texture creation; from rugged, weathered aesthetics to unifying fragmented materials through dyeing. With the right materials at hand, creativity opens up into far more possibilities.

Where talent meets opportunity

On May 13, Parsons will hold a student works exhibition. That day, outstanding projects will be selected, and D&A Group will present scholarships to recognize both creative vision and craft execution. This isn’t just an exhibition—it’s a genuine stepping stone for young designers as they move from classroom learning to industry readiness.

Stay tuned and witness how these emerging designers turn professional materials into works that meet industry standards.
